Earlier this year one of my favorite wrestlers retired from wrestling in order to try a football career with an NFL club. Brock Lesnar had an amazing career in Pro Wrestling becoming at the time the youngest WWE Champion at the age of 26. The guy as a monster in the ring and when I found out that he was leaving wrestling I was kinda bummed. Well, things are looking up as the club that he eventually signed on with is the Minnesota Vikings, my favorite team. Although he will not be able to play this year unless a miracle happens, I can already pre-order a football jersey with his name on it. This makes me happy. Now the only thing that would make me happier is seeing Brock Lesnar doing an F-5 on an opposing Quarterback, that would be real nice.
http://www.nfl.com/nflnetwork/story/7535114 So far the Vikes are 2 – 1 this pre-season, which is a good start in my books. Hopefully it will be a good year. GO VIKINGS GO.
In a related story, Brock Lesnar has been cut by the Vikings. But his spirit is still strong. This past week I was inspired to do some over time at work. I worked 4 hours on Wednesday and a killer 8 hours on Friday. The reason for my need to do over time is because I am the brokest I have been in a long long time. I am officially broke until Friday of this week. I should be okay though. Just stretched myself too thin. Today is the closing ceremonies for the Olympics. Overall it was great to watch. No terrorist attacks this time around which I guess is a plus. There was an incident in the Men Marathon race where a crazy Irish priest pretty much tackled the leader who was 40 seconds ahead of the leader.
